He's on baby cereals, biscuits, jar food, all so fruit and veg, fruit juice watered down, them little fromage frais pots and the odd milk chocolate button, cheddar cheese and bits of bread.

what can he have?
can he have proper breakfast like rice crispies , porridge flakes and the like yet?.

I want him to have meat with his veg and pasta dishes but I don't know how to go about it, the frozen mince I've bought before has had little bits of gristle and bone in it.

how do I give him chicken without buying a big fresh bit and eating the rest myself on the spot, is it safe to cook meat/fish then freeze it and reheat later?.

Pretty much anything, along the lines above. Take your meals and make a bit extra and freeze a few portions for him. Our freezer is also full of little pots of rissotto, stew, pasta dishes etc.

cooked shellfish is ok from 6 months. I would avoid honey, whole nuts (peanut butter, etc ok from 6 months if no allergies), runny eggs, high salt/sugar foods, etc. Weetabix, porridge, ready brek would all be ok as well as mini shredded wheat, shreddies, etc. You can cook raw foods and then freeze them and reheat them at a later date (only reheat once). We have portions of bolognese and cheese sauces in the freezer and just boil the pasta when required.

If you baby doesn't like the texture of mince meat it purees very well (when in a sauce like a pasta sauce) with potatoe.

You can buy baby size pasta pieces which I find handy (or break up your own). I often mix these with a home made pasta sauce, or a cheese sauce (you can also add some salmon or brocoli pieces).

I give my baby ready brek, weetabix type cereals for breakfast. He's 9 months.
