Insatiable baby boy!

I have an 8 month old boy (my 2nd) and his appetite is voracious! Perhaps because he is the opposite of my first who still remains quite a fussy eater (3yo), and definitely not a foodie- but I do worry that number 2 eats for Britain and never seems to be full! The mouth just keeps opening... Its nice that he eats almost anything I give him but am worried he's gonna turn out to have weight issues later.... people say it'll drop off when he starts crawling but he is def on the chubby side. He had a headstart I guess as was born at 10lbs. He's getting the right amount of formula- 21oz a day and sleeps through the night on the whole.
Just wondering if anyone else has or has had similar experiences...
Books/ advice is to feed to appetite- but if I did that I think he'd be eating constantly- so I give him what i 'think' he should be eating and say thats that...

My DS is on the 95th percentile and can eat for Britain. He has born on the 91st and went up to 95 th upon weaning. I am a bit concerned he is getting a bit too pudgy. He is on 3 meals a day, and 3 x 8 oz milk. Quite often he is still opening his mouth for more at the end of a meal but I stop when he has finished the portion I have prepared and he is quite happy to wait until the next meal time for more so I think he is getting enough, even though he is still opening his mouth for more. I have decided not to do puddings at all due to concerns about him getting too big, but do give him the occasional rice cake as a snack.
Although mildly concerned about him getting too big, I have to say I am happy he isn't fussy! He has never refused anything so far.
