I don`t like my HV

Hi all,
I started weaning my DD at 17 weeks by the recommendation of my HV. DD was always big baby and she told me that DD is ready for solids. So 5 weeks on and HVs said i should stop weaning and give her more milk. What is this?
Feel like being fooled around, DH said we better stop seeing HV. DD is still big baby and she is over 100th centile of weight and 98th of lenght on charts. She puts 6-8oz every week since 8 weeks old.She is happy and active rolling over pulling her toes and wanting to sit on her own.
Should i say HV B@g @ff? They really make my life miserable,I want to enjoy my time with my little one.
I don`t think im wrong, what do you think?
help me,

You don't have to see your HV at all, and you don't have to give a reason for not wanting to see her. Your little girl sounds as if she's doing really well, and if your HV is making you unhappy then I agree that you should stop seeing her.

Hi diva4mgl
I had a similar experience with Ds
Eventually after weeks of heart ache (caused entirely by her gibberish!) I took someones advice and registered with a different HV at a different Health centre. As i liked my doctor a lot i kept on with the doctor at the origonal practice. Worked wonders and had no further problems

My little one is 26 weeks old now - and the only reason we see the HV is to have her weighed! I got p**d off with being told different things by different HVs (in our area they work in teams!!). Abi had a problem with her skin which took nearly 3 months for us to sort out 'cos I was listening to the HVs rather than my intuition. Have faith in your own parenting ability - its nature, after all!

Don't listen to her she sounds silly.

Go ahead as a family, your little one wil be fine, sounds like she and you are more than able to cope for yourselves.
