blw - any good suggestions for small food for dd's pincer-grip obsession?

dd has just discovered her pincer grip and won't eat stick finger-food or purees now, she only likes to put small things in her mouth. So far she has had beans, peas, small cubes of cheese and tiny macaroni and I'm running out of ideas. Any suggestions?

(Also, do you think there could be other reasons why she only wants to put small things in her mouth? She's just sprouted her front teeth so maybe she doesn't like biting any more.)

sweetcorn
raisins
dried apricot chopped small
small prawns
kidney beans
blueberries

DD1 went through this stage, lasted a good few weeks. When her pincer grip gets really good try rice. Gives you a good half hour to get on with stuff in the kitchen while each grain is individually picked up and eaten Grin

Excellent suggestions, I'll try apricots tomorrow. She had some rice tonight which did keep her quiet for a while Grin thanks

What about those tiny pasta shells - annabel karmel range but I'm sure there are others. Mixed with pasta sauce - nothing too runny.

We went through this stage too. I found a small bowl of chopped fruit - grapes, raisins, dried apricot - could keep DD interested and occupied for a while.
