Nappy content question

OK, DS has been having some purees for a week or so, and for the last 3 days has been having some finger foods. He is happily sucking on bits of apple and things.

So, yesterday we presented him with some well cooked carrot and broccoli bits and he happily gummed away at them. Great.

Tonight however we have produced a reasonably large, recognizable lump of carrot in the nappy and I'm a bit concerned.

Is this ok? Is this normal? It looks bigger than I would like to think he was swallowing, and the fact that he hasn't digested it is concerning me too.

Please tell me to stop being silly!

totally normal - carrot is the one thing that always seems to go straight through DD undigested. great big lumps of it.

remember that when you first give him banana there will be terrifying black wormy threads in his poo ... Smile

DS has been having finger food for two months - his poo is still liquid with chunks of carrot etc in it. Lovely! But entirely normal, I think.

AS valbona says, the wormy banana poo is quite something....

Thank you!

Am almost looking forward to him having banana now, although he did throw some sliced banana on the floor the other day Grin

Ah, I'm with you there. DH says we should cut out the middle man and just throw DS's food straight on the floor Grin

Good luck with the banana.
