BLW and nappies (TMI alert!)

Not sure what is going on with DD's nappies since we started BLW...

She is definitely eating bits of food, tho not in great quantities yet, as it is evident from the nappy contents. The trouble is the nappies are quite runny and explosive - full changes of clothes are a regular occurence Grin

She is mainly BF, but has a FF at midday(ish) and a FF top-up at bedtime.

She has also been vomiting more of her milk up after some feeds in the last day or two...could this be down to teething though?

Is this all normal?? When will the poo get a bit 'firmer'?

I'm no expert, but started BLW a few weeks ago and have several friends all weaning in one form or another too. Lots of discussion occurring on this issue- most of us seeing more frequent dirty nappies, some firmer and some runnier. Pretty much everyone's mentioned more frequent vomiting too. I don't think there's a norm, but clearly the gut is trying to adapt and I guess some do it more easily than others.

Although I'm sure it's just an adaption thing I suppose it could be a sign of intolerance to something if it's more like genuine diarrhoea, so worth keeping an eye on if it doesn't settle, I guess.

Thanks peapod
It's not diarrhoea, just very squidgy/loose. I guess it is just the gut adjusting, but it's always reassuring if others are experiencing the same thing, isn't it?

I've had 2 babies, both blw, and the poo took a while to firm up. So you may be dealing with the explosive ones for a while yet!
