Just keep trying with different foods. If you always end up with banana, she will just keep eating it. Don't offer it and if she is hungry, she will eat. I think that too much banana can make them a bit constipated so that's another reason to eat something else!

probably because banana is sweet - try mixing it with another fruit or even a veg. I wouldn't necessary eat banana and sweet potato but I'm sure a baby would love it. It's all about introducing tastes and textures so anything goes. Good luck and happy tasting!

Butternut Squah is also very soft and sweet, pears are good too.

She may not be ready for food yet. Ds didn't want any until he was 7 months. If she doesn't want it now, there is no rush, try again in a few weeks?

PS, I know this sounds silly but you will know when they are ready as they will just scoff what you give them!!

My ds was the same to begin with he'll now eat most things. I never got him to eat baby rice and who can blame him its foul!
Try adding ripe avocado to the banana. Depending on her age try adding some crumbled weetabix or porridge and slowly reduce the ratio of banana to cereal.

I agree butternut squash is great and makes great soup for adults! Butternut squash and spinach goes down well. How often are you trying new foods? perhaps stretch out the time between introducing foods, it could be just too many new flavours.

If she does get a bit constipated pureed prunes mixed with some natural yoghurt worked well with mine.

Good luck
