We are booked to go to disney world at Easter and I will be 12 weeks pregnant when we go and a bit apprehensive about it.

Any tips much appreciated

It'll be really busy, but you can use LL or whatever.

You can go on every ride without a height restriction in all parks.

Wear extremely comfortable trainers.

Drink plenty of water.

I'm not really sure what tips you're looking for, anything specific?

I’m seriously not sure I’d be going. Florida I believe passed a strict abortion law in 2024 and whilst obviously you aren’t looking for one this can also mean you don’t have access to lifesaving medical pre-natal care should the very worst happen.

Not sure tbh.... at disneyland paris they have a special band for pregnant people that get you some queue jumps etc.... I can't find anything similar for usa though?

Honestly I am maybe looking for reassurance i will still enjoy it 🤣 i know I'm going to spend so much time sat on my own whilst everyone else is queueing for rides and just not sure what to expect.

I went when 10 weeks pregnant and it was good but exhausting!
one weird thing I remember the petrol smell of the Tomorrowland speedway being absolutely awful!

I had to take squash with me as I hated water and Orlando water is awful.

Oh jeez! Hadn't even considered that!

I don't think they do anything like that for Disney world tbh they only do the DAS pass for neurological conditions.

It's still enjoyable, they are rides you can do like mentioned and you can enjoy all the snacks whilst others ride.

I'm sure you'll have an amazing time x

I did go on a lot of rides though just didn’t go on the fast ones (actually maybe I did but wouldn’t recommend) - Disney is great for kids rides

we did meals (DD loved meeting Special Agent Oso (who no longer exists)) and her excitement at meeting Donald Duck at 3 was a real highlight (she still loves him wore a hoodie with him on today at 16)

did all the shows as well

You're pregnant, not disabled so no special treatment for lines. They are very strict when it comes to fair queuing.

Be prepared to be exhausted as so much walking and heat. Are you staying at a Disney hotel? You might want to go back for a nap.

Are you going with children? You won't be able to ride any of the big rides but you'll be fine on the smaller ones.

I was pregnant at Disney Paris around the same stage. Unfortunately, throwing up throughout the day and violently sick after eating a buffet dinner. Last thing I wanted to do was go on rides (wouldn’t have anyway).

Hope it’s better for you!
