Optimistic I know, but are there any companies you'd particularly recommend (or not!) for booking a holiday to Disneyworld Florida please?

There's a few FB groups (It's Orlando Time or The Florida Forum) or The Dibb website that might be more helpful than here.

We’ve always booked flights, accommodation, car hire and park tickets separately but we don’t stay on resort.

Make sure you have holiday insurance before you book

Thank you

We’ve booked hotel and tickets with Attraction Tickets in the past and hold a booking with them for this August. They’re very competitive with good flexible policies.

I book flights direct with BA and then direct with Disney. I only book when free dining is on, dollars on a gift card etc.

I usually stay in a villa to have my own pool and I just book through Vbro. Flights I book separately through Sky Scanner

You need to narrow this down, are you looking to stay in Disney World or outside, hotel, apartment or villa?

Are you looking for a package or booking everything separately? You need good travel insurance.

The Dibb is a great, fall over themselves place to get answers, I am on there.

We have done both, booked a package when we first went for that Once in a Lifetime Trip and then individually when we returned, and returned and returned! Grin

Having travelled to Disney/Universal for the last 25 years, here’s my considered opinion.
Be prepared to spend a fortune, especially to stay onsite, free dining has been watered down to a dollar amount per room so it’s not the great deal it once was , be prepared to plan like a military operation, the days of rocking up to Disney on a whim are gone forever, you HAVE to book park days now and can only park hop after 2pm, the likelyhood of paid fastpasses of between $150-300 pp per day replacing the (currently not available) free ones, is high. Park tickets for Disney/ Universal are £750 pp , you can save a little by booking say 5 day base tickets and 3 day Universal ones from somewhere like Undercover tourist, might bring it down to £550 pp or so but will take away the pleasure of just going in an evening for the fireworks etc.

If they don’t bring back free ones then there is no longer any point in booking a room onsite to get the benefit of booking them 60 days in advance, which was a pain but necessary for the best rides.
If you are planning to visit Universal it’s well worth booking a night in a premium on site hotel for unlimited fast passes as paid ones are up to $200 pp per day A room at Royal pacific is around £300 and you can turn up at 7am so get 2 full days. 2 days of paid passes would be £1500 ish for a family of 4 so it’s a no brainer. If you don’t have fast passes you can waste 4-6 hours in queues at busy times/weekends.
I’ve priced up for a trip for 7, 4 adults + 3 kids - £5000 for park tickets alone. The lowest I could get down to worked out at £2000 pp for flights, a condo resort, tickets and a night at Universal (2 rooms needed) that is not counting food or car hire - actually uber sometimes works out cheaper than car hire due to parking charges at all the parks. $25 a days parking for 10 days is $250 plus say £400 car hire.
You are unlikely to get change from £10k , more like £15k to stay onsite.

The Mouse Experts are great at planning every detail of your trip and you don't pay them anything (they are paid a commission by Disney)
