If I liked Hogwarts Legacy...

Hello!

I've never gamed but, on impulse bought a PS5 especially for Hogwarts Legacy. And, I loved it so looking for recommendations.

I want something that is open world as loved just exploring. I don't mind some combat but I don't want it to be the entire focus so, some interesting little side quests would be great.

I've heard good things about Elden Ring but then some reviews say that it's hugely complicated and there is only one difficulty setting. I fear that I would be stuck on level one forever! My hand eye co.ordination isn't what it used to be!

I'd be so grateful for any or all ideas. Thanks in advance.

Feeling much better about upgrading my PS2 to a PS5 to play Hogwarts Legacy now. My partners hate is revelio and me listening for that bloody ding 😅
I wouldn't tell you I got the kids a switch to play it then realised it was released later on it.
I love Final Fantasy games (not enough to upgrade the PS2) and would recommend them especially some of the older released ones.

@lalalalalalaleeee XBoxOne version was released late last week. I think the PS4 version was released at the same time.

Cyberpunk, no man’s sky, Farcry 6, Horizon zero dawn, Skyrim, Witcher 3, fall out and any of the Spider-Man games are all very successful games which offer open world exploration and some combat which the difficulty can be adjusted as you play to make it easier or harder.

I wouldn’t recommend elden rings as it is a very difficult game which is generally stressful and enraging to play due to how unforgiving it is.

Hogwarts legacy is an incredible game, having played games for the majority of my life I found the combat tricky so if you coped with that I think you would enjoy any of the above.

I personally loved the Spider-Man games, it’s a smaller open world but with loads of side quests and collectables so the map feels huge as you swing around.
