Kid just threw controller out of window

My DS has just THROWN his PS 5 controller out of the second floor window after he has just been glitched out of his game of Fortnite and it has now been cracked and no longer works. I feel like punishing him but I don't want his anger issues to worsen.

Echo what other posters have said but my DS is also having problems with fortnite crashing, it’s been happening for months, im about to report it to Sony and get the console replaced at this point!

I am a mum of sons, mine have unfortunately done things like this in the past, I am sure he would have learnt from it, OP. I can’t be hard on my two, I would replace the controller in a few days and say it’s the last time etc. Mine are now 20 & 19 and don’t have temper tantrum’s anymore thank goodness. You will get through it.

My DS is only 7 so we don't allow Fortnite. But we do have a rule that if he's getting upset/angry when playing a game it means he needs a break.

Throwing a controller out of the window would definitely warrant an extended period of no gaming. I'm surprised PP saying a month is too long & he'll forgot why etc. Not a chance mine would forget!
