Evening,

DD has had this game for a couple of months now, but seems to literally go round in circles, she is getting a bit fed up with it now.

If she visited someones Island (she hasn't done it before), is there a risk that she will ruin your Island? Blush

She wouldn't intentionally, of course but what does she do when she gets there?

@TheFaceProject, could we come and have a look on the beach please?

@JackieWeaver no she can't ruin someone's island.
I think the only thing she can do that some people don't like is pick flowers and fruit. Some people don't like that but they grow back so no harm really. Other than that she can only pick up things that people leave lying around - if you are allowing visitors you usually only leave down things that people want to be taken.
But she can fish, catch bugs and visit shops to see if something different is for sale. And just have a nosey round!
I am not on tonight but she can visit me tomorrow if you don't find a better offer (I'm only a 4 star!)

@JackieWeaver It's polite not to pick stuff without checking - for example if someones's trying to hybridise or duplicate flowers, then picking will interfere with that. I've got lots of fruit trees I don't mind being shaken but there are a couple I don't want touched.

People on this thread tend to leave out DIYs and items for visitors but if it's your first visit it would be polite to check before taking. Sometimes items are left out for cataloguing, not taking, so it's worth being sure.

I wouldn't pick up shells or star fragments from someone else's beach. If I spotted Gulliver or a DIY bottle I'd let the host know.

There are some amazing islands on this thread - it's well worth visiting to get ideas. People here are so helpful and friendly - if you need any items or help with anything just ask!

How do you visit other islands ?

@1sunnyday23 welcome! I think the best pointer I can give is to suggest a browse through the previous threads on here as there are loads of really useful tips throughout, including about visiting etc.

Welcome! To visit other islands, you need to go to the airport. Tell them that you want to visit someone online and then by using a dodo code. It's simple and lots of fun. Keep your eye on this page as people let you know when they are opening up and put their dodo codes up.

Have you left enough space on cliff edges?

They are supposed to spawn randomly one per week so you might have a couple more days left to wait Smile
