Oh I got rid of flo a few weeks ago! She was really annoying me! Currently got 3 I’m trying to encourage to move on but they aren’t taking the hint!!

My son left any coprolites he found outside the house of his hated villager. Not sure it has the desired effect but it made him feel better.

apparently to get rid of villagers you just ignore them point blank for a week, don’t talk or interact or go near at all. Then they’ll do the angry react, you ask them what’s up and they’ll talk about moving

I’ve tried ignoring them. And then a few days ago one I wasn’t ignoring decided to leave!!!

As weird as this sounds, I just can’t bring myself to hit them!!!!

Villagers asking to move out...

A villager will ask to move out 15 days after you last had an empty spot. If you say no to that villager, that villager won't ask to more out again for at least two weeks. However another villager will ask to move out five days after the first. And so on.

There really doesn't seem to be any evidence of treating them badly working to get them to ask to move out. I have had ones ask to move that have very good friend rating with me.
The only way to prompt an ask is to time travel - if you tt far when back I find one asks to move out quite quickly!

Or you can force one out by taking someone from your campsite or using an amibo card.

I bought some cheap amiibo cards off of Wish. That helped me prompt villagers to move.

Can I join in? I ended up buying myself a Switch just for Animal Crossing. Currently on 3 stars but keep ending up travelling to my DD's island to give her resources so she can craft things so not getting anywhere fast. I was hoping her island would have pears and oranges but no such luck.

The amibo cards are great as you can pick which villager you want to kick out without any 'tricks'. (You can trick when inviting someone from your campsite but it takes ages sometimes!)

I got a new villager today, he came from Sofa which I'm pretty sure is one of the islands from here.. Its Rocket, I'm hoping he/she is nice!!

I have peaches but thank you for the offer. I have some spare cherries and apples if anyone needs them. Also have some bamboo shoots and coconuts
