Cowboy Character - College Project

Hello,

I am creating a Cowboy character which should be suitable for a Pegi 12/children's game. This character would appear in a strategy game where the camera would be quite far from them, meaning the character will not be very detailed.

The question I have is what you would think will be suitable for this character to have or what you think the character shouldn't have, For example, Right now the character has 3 guns on them, would that be appropriate for a character in a children's game?
