Also when did they make Meltan bigger when he spawns? I’ve not opened a box for a couple of weeks and now he’s huge when he pops up.

That's a huge Meltan!
I have to put my phone on vibrate because I don't notice them spawning.

@Luco006 ElGiz is my other half. He's already level 40 so isn't concerned about xp. Will tell him not to open gifts from you but just send them to you instead that way you can trigger it when you're ready to put an egg on.

Also what is an IV? Feeling NEW

Every Pokemon has its own unique IV, it’s sort of like its DNA and determines how good it will be in battle. Currently you can’t get an accurate IV in the game however you can get a decent idea of whether it’s high or low by appraising your pokemon. To get an accurate IV you can download an app called Pokegenie (there are other but I find Pokegenie is most popular) which screenshots your Pokemon to tell you it’s IV.

Most consider mons less than 80% IV pretty rubbish and prefer over 90%. However, remember it doesn’t matter much unless it’s a mon which you intend to use for battling. A 100% Rattata is nice to have but still probably not going to be of use in a raid.

I know we’re all strangers on the internet, but I wish we had a box to tick when we added each other as PoGo friends where folk agree to check in here before levelling up to ultra or best friends...

It’s just frustrating for those of us who are chasing those XP and value the opportunity to use eggs to double those points. Many thanks to those of you out there who do check in and try to accommodate each other - I must admit now that on days when gifts are low, this comes into play when deciding where to send them.

I agree, it’s really frustrating, Funnel. It’s got to the point that I no longer send gifts when we’re a day or two off until I can arrange egging just to be sure the other person can’t trigger unexpectedly.

I’ve tried that Witch, and then got into a long stand off when neither opens their gifts to each other and you remain stuck with 4 days to go forever.
