@muffinx - I’ve triggered it as I only had 1 lucky egg!

TSR has gone into the latest update files and found the following:

• PvP is at the doors! Everything needed for the combat system is here in this update
• Moves! With the sound files now added for these moves, we expect them to drop shortly!
Note that many of these moves have special attributes, which may interplay with the stat buff/debuff system we observed
• Socket networking appears to be in use in the PvP system - a very interesting technical development
• The mechanics of combat are a bit more explained through these metadata changes ...but there is much appearing that does not seem to fit our model of combat yet. Our personal feeling is that the combat system has changes coming that have not yet been announced - particularly moves that adjust stats in-combat!

Most of that makes no sense to me wailmer but I'm hoping it will all become more apparent when it actually happens!! Read in Pokemon news that Delibird will be reappearing. Why can't they have chosen something new, like a sinnoh Pokemon? Not in the least but interested in delibird.

I mentioned it in my local chat group, as someone was mourning a favourite 'mon stuck for four days. (it's a local stop but you have to walk across a field to get to it and in this weather no-one has bothered).
Anyway, someone suggested you cross over to the dark side and look for a spoofer group to take over the gym. Spoofer is the Dutch term but I'm guessing it's the same in English; someone who uses an app to change their position in Google maps. Not to be recommended as it's a) cheating, and b) gets you banned.
It's what DS friend was doing but he got banned after he regularly managed to travel from San Francisco to the Netherlands in the space of an afternoon.

Btw it all happens in San Francisco if you're looking for a PoGo holiday destination!

Can you give me an indication of where the gym is, somewhere between Wales and Nevada Llanon? I doubt anyone will find it from that. There's at least one spoofer here. I don't know who he is but others do and I could start making discreet enquiries.
