DS and I have been getting identical Pokémon all afternoon. Exactly the same CP. Is this a glitch, or because I've levelled up and am catching up his trainer level?
And, as someone suggested up thread, if you catch a Marowak in a raid battle, it'll count as a cubone! DS' whoops of delight were probably heard for miles around.
Especially as he was stood on the dyke by the flood plain at the time.

BaronessBomburst Once you hit Level 30, you will catch the same CP/IV Pokemon as all other Level 30+ trainers.

So if you’re pokehunting with another level 30+ player, all Pokemon you catch have the exact same CP and IV.

So in group chats, players will post if there is a high IV Pokemon in a certain place so other players have the chance to go and grab it (as long as they’re level 30+ too).

Level 30 is also where the game starts to really matter in terms of catching good Pokemon, as you can now catch max CP Pokemon.

Had a fab day today as I finally managed to throw an excellent curveball and finish the Celebi special task. It’s been hanging around for ages and ages and ages. Must have spent hundred of balls trying to throw an excellent one! I was the mad woman fist pumping in the park grinning at her phone!

Now feeling at a bit of a loss with no special research tasks to do...

tryingtocatchthewind Inbetween events Pokemon spawns are related to their biomes. So, I live in an area with quite a bit of water, which means I see a lot of water Pokemon. It wouldn’t make sense to have increased fire spawns. Weather also plays a part too.

So while you may see lots of Mr Mimes, not everywhere will. It’s dependant on a lot of complex factors but the main two are biome and weather.

Where do cubones hang out?
Unless I can get lucky and find a Marowak raid and a few extra players.

Hi wailmer, yes I know that. I’d just love them to mix up which water, fire, regionals everyone gets and not keep going back to the same “normal” settings
