Shiny new thread!

I'm loving the new special research. I'm not loving that none of my Pikachu have been shiny. Harrumph (Dr)

I don’t know much myself, Jamin, that’s all the Instagram post had to offer. I’m guessing that there’ll be 3 different leagues on which to battle your friends and that, depending on which league you choose, you’ll only be able to battle with moms up to a certain CP.

It’ll make it a more equal playing field for lower level players.

Sorry to repeat what I’m sure you’ve all been saying all evening, but bloody hell - they’ve spawned early!

Bimblepops They’ve not spawned early. The event started at 9pm tonight and continues throughout the weekend until 9pm on Sunday.

Between 10am and 1pm on Saturday and Sunday special bonuses will be active (2x catch XP, 2x catch stardust and 1/2 distance eggs), but the actual spawns are active all weekend.

Potty l think the evolved shinies look a lot different in colour

arowhena Some look completely different, some look the same. For example, shiny Shellder is bright orange while shiny Cloyster is blue, but shiny Cyndaquil is brownish as are its two evolutions Quilava and Typhlosion.

Shiny Bulbasaur’s family are all the same slightly different shade of green; the major different with them is the flower which is yellow and not red.

I don't understand that at all @WitchSharkadder, can anyone enlighten me?

MrsJamin Basically, when battling, there will be three groups (leagues). The first group only allows you to use Pokemon of 1500 CP or under, the second allows 2500 CP or under and the third group is unlimited; any CP Pokemon can fight.

It will make strategies and tactics extremely important as with a CP cap having good IVs and perfect movesets becomes imperative.

Even with the Master League of unlimited CP, you will really need to have perfected your Pokemon and thought about their IV and movesets in order to win. CP isn’t an indicator of a good or strong Pokemon.

I am extremely excited about this as I have been preparing for this for a long time.
