Incy, my DD names mine too, which means I can never get rid of them. My favourites are a Mr Mime named LetMeAnnoyU and a Ditto called Same Here.

I've named barely any - my first bulbasaur, Joey, and I have a lucky Nidoran called John because my best friend's mum named it.

I got the reward for the research task eg evolve 2 anorith, left the catching for later and now that orange box has disappeared.

Do you now have 4 task boxes instead of 3? They'll be stacked under the top orange box. You'll have to catch the oldest one first to get through to the next one.

You don't need to save the Scyther / Anorith task though? Just catch it and then evolve it later.

It's the hatch 2 eggs/ catch an aerodactyl one that you'd need to save. (I'm currently not hatching any eggs, for that reason).

You can still hatch the eggs and just stack the task for later, Tinsel.

OrianaBanana They’ve not disappeared, they’ve been stacked. If you run away from a task reward Pokemon it gets stacked and you go through the stack oldest to newest.

TinselAngel There’s no need to hold on off hatching eggs. Hatch as normal, then stack the Aerodactyl by running away from it instead of catching it.
