@catchyjem you get a few more balls and the possibility of a 5km egg. I got one last week thinking it would hatch into something special, but it was just a pretty standard Pokémon you'd expect from a 5km egg. I've got another egg space this time so I'm hoping for another egg this Monday morning and that it'll be something more exciting this time. Some other people just got stardust or a rare candy though even if they had an egg space free.

Cheers TallulahBetty!

catchyjem · 18/11/2018 21:44

MrsJasmin very helpful thanks

Envy at shiny Drowzee

pottypotamus · 18/11/2018 22:14

Hey guys, another quick question.
Is there a way to know which level raids are happening at what time at certain gyms in advance? Just wanted to know so I can plan my day (my life doesn't revolve around PoGo at all!) haha Grin

PickAChew · 18/11/2018 22:18

Just click on the egg when it shows up. Or scroll across to raids in your nearby, which is actually quicker, if you recognise the gym from the tiny picture.

TrashPanda · 18/11/2018 22:18

I hatched this this morning, it's soo pink! Looks like when Paris Hilton used to dye her dogs Grin

TrashPanda · 18/11/2018 22:23

There's no way to know before an egg appears where raids will be. Only once an egg pops can you see the level and then see which Pokemon when it hatches.

DoctorTwo · 18/11/2018 22:29

Hi @pottypotamus, the only raids you can plan more than an hour ahead are Ex Raids, other raids (AFAIK) are more random. I'm happy to be told otherwise though.

Ah ok thanks! Was hoping there was a magic list somewhere of all raids for the day. Never mind, I'll keep trying.

TallulahBetty · 18/11/2018 22:55

Awwww I want a shiny sheep too Envy

IncyWincyGrownUp · 18/11/2018 23:20

If you were local I’d chuck you a spare Tallulah. I had more than this but I deleted one I think.

Is there a way to know which level raids are happening at what time at certain gyms in advance?

pottypotamus No. The only raids scheduled in advance are “ex”-raids (for which you need an invitation) and raids when a particular raid day is on (like the recent Gengar day where every gym had a Gengar raid for three hours).

Otherwise, raids are just random. When an egg appears you know a raid will start at the end of the countdown and the level of raid to get an idea of what Pokemon may hatch, but that’s it.

TallulahBetty · 19/11/2018 06:37

Aw thanks Incy. Shame you can't trade from further afield.

Chuffed that I've got my rhyperior this morning and caught a ditto from the excellent throw task. I've also got an aerodactyl in my stacked encounter pile from a research task yesterday. Does anyone know how it works if you have multiple saved encounters, let's say you put in there, in chronological order:

  1. Aerodactyl
  2. Magnemite
  3. Chansey
When you go back into the stack, would you see 1 first, or 3? And if you saw 3 first, could you abandon 3, then abandon 2 and then see and catch 1? Or would you just be taken back to the main special tasks screen? I'm wondering whether I can keep my aerodactyl until stage 8/9 of the meltan task just in case I get there after the task to find one has disappeared? The win 10 raids one is rather evil, I must say, and will slow me down on this meltan series.
tryingtocatchthewind · 19/11/2018 08:12

Does anyone remember what the aerodactyl task was? I just got one and cursing myself for opening it before I needed it. You just know I won’t get another!

TrashPanda · 19/11/2018 08:17

I think if they are stacked, they will always be oldest claimed first until you catch it. Aerodactyl is hatch 2 eggs.

MrsJamin · 19/11/2018 08:31

@TrashPanda thanks, so if you choose not to catch the oldest does it then go to next oldest? Was thinking of trying to stockpile other things that I'm meant to catch later too...

WhatToDoAboutWailmerGoneRogue · 19/11/2018 08:40

so if you choose not to catch the oldest does it then go to next oldest?

MrsJamin No. It goes from the oldest to the newest, and if you run away from the first in the stack (the oldest), it will still be the exact same Pokemon (the oldest) when you next click on the stack.

You cannot bypass one to get to the other, you have to catch them in the order they are in the stack.

TrashPanda · 19/11/2018 09:42

Sorry @MrsJamin I wasn't very clear Blush It would be great if you could pick which one you catch though! Niantic said it's not a supported feature though so I can't see them changing it Smile

pottypotamus · 19/11/2018 10:55

Thanks wailmer. Who sends EX Raid invitations?

MrsJamin · 19/11/2018 11:03

Thanks @WhatToDoAboutWailmerGoneRogue and @trashpanda, I shelved another encounter that I wasn't interested in and you're right, I just get the Aerodactyl again and I can't bypass that to get to the other encounter. Good to know how it works though! I need to do two raids today now! how's everyone else getting through the Meltan tasks?
