I have never played this before but I think I would like it. Is it best to play on iPad or xbox360. What should I start with? I quite like the idea of dressing the characters etc. Don’t know where to start though! Xx

Thiswillbemyusername I heard it's not open world? I couldn't bear the loading screens for every change in sims 2.

I love love love the sims i was also 10 when started to play now am 27. Currently onsims 4 but going back to Sims 3.

@Thiswillbemyusername it's semi-open world. When you zoom out of your house it loads most of the houses around yours, just not the entire town like sims 3 did. This leads me to play a bit 'closer' to the action, if that makes sense?. In Sims 3 I tended to be zoomed out all the time so didn't really watch the Sims doing much. There are mini loading screens if you want to go any further (another town for example) however they take approximately 5 seconds to load. Whether that's down to my laptop or the game I'm not sure: I did buy a pretty good machine back in the same year the Sims 4 game out. It seems to run faster, has never crashed, unlike the Sims 3 which did for me, a lot!. Again not sure whether that's a software/hardware problem Smile

DH bought me Sims 4 for my birthday this year. I'm very interested in the pets expansion, too!

My favourite sim has been living a loooong time due to the anti aging potion. He has about 25 DC!! He's outlived almost all of his partners and DC, and I'm now working on the grandchildren. He's Ben abducted twice and had alien babies. He is a legend.

@Eyebooyanbooyaboo 25 DC Shock haha. I have aging set to long. My first Sims have just reached adulthood and I've been playing for about 76 hours (last time I checked the stats). I don't let all the Sims age together though, I like to play each family individually so they have a sort of narrative Smile

He went through a long phase of one night stands! I bought him the "beguile" skill so he can get the laydeez very easily.

I've got to say I'm quite relieved to not be the only one in their late twenties still playing the Sims Grin

Mid 40s and playing Sims stil!
I play the Sims 3 on my Mac and tend to play the Supernatural version the most. I love making a genetic condition like green skin and seeing how long it will last with descendants.

Computer is best. There is Sims 2, Sims 3 and Sims 4. Have a look at some youtube videos to see which you would like best as they are priced differently.

I am still an avid sims 2 fan and have never found 3 or 4 took my interest even though I have both of them Blush

I don't think the console or tablet versions are anything like the same.
