Caught my first Chansey during this event too - very pleased.

Also had a day out at Stirling Castle yesterday and you couldn't MOVE for Pokemon - Mankeys, Vulpix, Bulbasaur, Rhyhorn and Clefairy in abundance in addition to the usual rats, weedles, pidgies and spearows.

I'm disappointed I won't have completed gen 1 when gen 2 is released - damn you elusive Tangela - but the changes sound good.

I've got 200 coins sitting in my account which I was hanging onto as I wasn't sure whether to go for more bag or box storage. If we get given extra box storage then I guess I'll probably go with bag expansion, but I'll hang fire for a week to see how things go.

STILL NO CHANSEY. Fml.

Really really really excited about new pokemon though! I really hope they don't make it too complicated, the simplicity of the game is what I like. I saw there were new berries coming out etc!

I'm a teeny bit gutted I haven't completed the UK dex either. Although I was a latecomer to this game so have been behind the majority of players.

Very impressed with being in a gym since October even if it was broken. I've never managed more than am hour or two

I had a lady in her 60ties with her son or possible grandson a few steps behind me at one of the pokestops close to work and they just didn't behave like the tourists that are usually there (the two stops are at a Scottish Heritage site), so I had a closer look, and both of them were pointing their phones at the Chancey I had just caught as well. Had a chat with them. I'm so pleased that I'm not the oldest Pokemoner around, that lady is a good 15 years older than I, I guess.
Great news about the update. Besides some babies, all I'm missing from the Eurodex is Aerodactyl.
I was going to upgrade my bag within the next couple of days but now I'm not sure if I should go for storage rather. I might wait until the update happens.

We're excited about gen 2 too

The event has been good - can't move for porygons and lickitungs round here though none have groped me, caught a clefairy yesterday, also buddying it so I nearly have enough candy to get my clefable. Caught a rhyhorn too which is rarer than rare round here. Still never seen a sniff of a chansey though.

I went out this morning and was standing on the doorstep sorting my phone out before setting off - don't want to waste any walking - and there was a Chansey. Got over 100 candies now, so that should be enough to evolve one.

Yay for gen 2! Can't wait for loads of newbies.

I took DH's phone out today hoping to get him a chansey but they eluded me. I've got 3 and DS has a couple but poor DH has none. I was hoping for a dratini too as I'm nearly getting to dragonite level- will probably just miss it- though going to get DS on his bike in a bit to get the buddies going

Yey for the new pokemon! I'm a fair way away from completing my dex but I'll be glad to have some new shadows to chase!

I went to Blenheim Palace today and caught 12 Electrabuzz!

Wait, does our pokedex get replaced with a new one? Or just 80 more spaces become available?

I've only got 120. I'm level 27 though :)

What are your numbers???? I say "only" 120 but I don't know anyone else in real life who is still playing, so no idea if this is normal or not

Also- does it count when you're driving? I'll be a passenger all next week, so wondering if I should have the app open or not.

Everything interactive, except gyms, disappears when you're moving too fast, porygon.

I've started to quite enjoy a crawly bus journey!

Rain thwarted my plans to go to a pokestop filled park, so we went out to a National Trust place instead. Not a fantastic move for pokemon hunting, but while sitting in the cafe, I managed to catch two sacred Magikarps for an additional 8 candies. Two away from Gyrados... My best one is CP128 which is decent, but I'm tempted to get a few extra candies to strengthen it up first.

Had the weirdest thing happen. Went for a poke walk and we were coming up to a bench which is a pokestop, only it wasn;t a poke stop. About 10 metres away a new pokestop was showing but it made no sense, didn't match the landscape at all. We re loaded then all was well again, weird.

Hatched our first Cleffa too, hurrah!

Porygon, my dex currently goes up to 239, because I hatched an Elekid, which is number 239. :) Not sure if that's the highest number of the babies, or if Magby is higher, as Magby is the only one I don't have.

The current Pokedex with the newbies goes up to 240
