Soooo it's only taken 12 months (18 months really, but not constantly playing. It's a complicated formula...involving x, y and Minecraft) but finally Alduin is gone.

Not that anyone seems particularly bothered in Skyrim.

And I have tied up a few loose ends.

Dawnguard and Dragonborn done.

Fallout 3 and Oblivion appeared on my bedside table last week.

Which one?

I couldn't get on with Oblivion, it just looked crap after Skyrim. Get Dragon Age: Inquisition, it's ace!! Very like Skyrim but less cheese and more political stuff. The fighting controls aren't as good but the graphics and storytelling are AMAZING.

P.S. The Last of Us is the best game ever but it's not RPG and it is scary/sad so depends on what you like.

Fallout new vegas, good mapping system, crafting and weapon skills, aswell as a linear storyline, which uses key dialogue to alter the way your character levels up, I've finished the game and found it enjoyable and a definite game to play

I'd do another play through as a different character set up as others mentioned. I did my first run through focusing mostly on destruction magic. I then made a new save a tried out one handed and shield and another focusing on being a sneak/stealth character.

As for other games in general, dishonored is interesting, I enjoyed it anyway. Same with Fallout 3...

I was told by a friend if I was feeling brave to try Dark Souls after completing dishonored... Having watched my dh and friend both play and give up, I avoided but may be worth a look at??

How about the Dragon Age series?
As a mahoosive Skyrim fan (it was my birthing soundtrack!) I really liked Dragon Age too. Different playing format as it is single player but you have a group of characters to control (not explained well by me) and they are awesome.

Let's just say that in my mat leave before dd was born I nailed Dragon Age 1 and Inquisition.
Now she's here I'm trying to work through Gta V but babies make gaming slow going!! Wink

If you like adult-rated crime games, have you tried the Yakuza games? Yakuza 3 is not all that good, but Yakuza 4 is excellent, and can be played without knowing the stories of the previous games. Highly recommended, and should be very cheap now.
