FF7 Fans?

Just started replaying through this on pc over the weekend. Forgot how much I loved it! The graphics are not great but game play is as great as I remember it and the cut scenes are largely on par to what you see in more recent games.

Loved the storyline, and Cloud anyone else?!

Me too, there are some games I just can't play for more than about 10-15 minutes for a time, otherwise I just start feeling nauseous. Deus Ex: Human Revolution springs to mind. Bleurgh!

Another charming and lovely turn base game I played recently was Child of Light, which is also rated 10yrs+. A really lovely game with a well written story and the graphics look like a beautiful water colour painting.

Ooh Iam my FF7 dream team is same as yours. Asked dh and his is cloud, Tifa and Vincent/Barrett.

Zazzles - have recently finished child of light - utterly charming game and a real bargain for the price.

For anyone with Ps3 would also really recommend ni no kuni - old school style rpg with beautiful studio ghibli animation and tonnes of cute little monsters to ccollect to use in battle.

Love that game. Never managed to breed a gold chocobo (bane of my life) to get knights of the round.
Just went and killed ruby weapon instead, less time consuming too. 8 was great too but ulitimecia was waaay too easy to beat, but that's my only gripe with that one even loved the summon collecting and card game.
FF13 is\was boring I've put playing that on hold for now as it was so dull.

Loved the rest of the series though and Advent children made my day, specially the HD version :)

Bit late responding to Miaow but yes I did spend most of fan fest in a queue! Now have my new forever Facebook cover photo though - yoshi-p apologising for fanfest queues bless him and me shaking uematsu's hand (dies).

Gold Saucer confirmed to be coming to FFXIV!!

It's a great game. I finished it on the original Playstation many years ago, but I still have my saves and want to go back in someday to breed more Chocobos.

OMG apparently Square are finally caving into pressure and re-making FF7 for PS4 with fully upgraded graphics according to DH. Am so excited!! Although he has also just told me that Shenmue 3 is coming out and The Last Guardian has been confirmed for 2016 so who knows

Actually think DH is telling the truth!! Just watched the trailer and it looks frickin awesome!! Can't link as on phone but Google final fantasy 7 PS4 (he was also telling truth about shenmue and New team ico game - wonders will never cease)!

I read something on Eurogamer about it being redone for PS4 so it could be very true. I think it was mentioned at E3 or something.

So excited about this remake I had to have a lie down on Tuesday when I found out about at.

As an avid fan fiction reader I am sure this will spur people back into writing as well, yay!

I used to hate these Tonberry guys turning up in a Final Fantasy battle.

Yep very excited about a remake although i think it is expected in 2017
