You know what? Given how difficult it can be dealing with town people, I would advise against getting your train fixed until you are in a good NH, and you are a decent level with a large enough barn to have things in storage. Or if you do get your train fixed, just ignore the townies - let 'em starve!!!

Seriously, they are very, very demanding.

Oh you are worrying me now. My train will be ready in a couple of hours.

But why don't they want to visit my shops? I have a diner, a grocery and a cinema! What do they want from me?!

I am going to ignore them and just concentrate on my farm for now. That'll show em [nails]

Until you have a few spaces in every shop, its really hard to juggle the town. Once you have a few spaces, then the odd visitor who has to hang around for ages while you make something isn't too bad, because the other spaces will be free.

It was only when I had 3 or 4 spaces per building that I found it easier to cycle them through.

All this talk of 'the town' is making me slightly scared! I haven't got the juice maker, the ice-cream maker or repaired the fishing boat yet how will I afford it? And which should I get first??

Only an hour to go. Jam maker bought.

Double cash for the visitors I am having to change ingrained habits and not just send them away.
Keeping up with the townies helps if your barn is as big as possible I try to keep one of everything before I put surplus in the shop. Even so there has been a clone in my cinema for about a week because I keep forgetting his jacket potato.

Monsterballs, are you using the white Town Hall to send your townies into shops?

I have no patience with the townies and rarely make things specially for them. They do give presents though (that's where the yellow paint, bricks etc come from mainly ime).

MudPig is stuck in the Nexus which overheated and we are looking for the receipt to have it fixed - the optimist in me believes that ONE DAY, my little pigs and everything will be rescued. Plus I actually bought bloody well diamonds

Ds then started Willow Farm and his tablet died.

I am still your friend Jux but farm number 3 is called PeppermintPuffin.

The townies are getting spoiled rotten but may get neglected if they are demanding the impossible like jam and things.

How do you get maps and expansion materials? And do they speed up, I mean two hours in a shop... I bet they are shoplifting

ATM Favourite, you'll get more dosh by doing visitors as they're paying double (can't remember how long that's lasting for). Otherwise, make loads of stuff and sell it for top wack in your shop.

Map pieces can be got from townies or sea chests. Not sure where else, if anywhere.

You can upgrade by clicking on that green arrow next to the people in a particular shop. The time seems to be the last option available, and as I haven't got to a point where I can change it, I have no idea what you to do to get there. Number of people allowed in a shop is first, then I think coins, then reputation, then time.

Also, I would get juicer - you can earn some money faster with it. Ice cream takes longer, and needs cream which is always hard to stock up on.

Oh no, the server is down for maintenance! I hope it comes up before bed because not only do I have a date with Tom (reluctantly!) but I haven't loaded my machines for the night .

I was just about to give you 6 tomatoes and it's gorn off.

I am back on level 24 with DS4's farm - let's face it, it's mine now, he hasn't touched it for days.
I'm hogging DH's phone to play so both are unhappy!
Like I give a crap...

So frustrating to be doing it over and over again....
First I lost my farm at level 29,then I actually started another on DH's work iPad - it was only level 12 when kids broke it so no big loss.
Then started again and at level 45 my phone broke - when I get a new one I might be able to log on so I hope it's not completely lost, I did join it to google +

What's more, DS1 has started his farm too, so last night I was helping him levelling up, giving tips...
So that's the 5th farm I've been involved with!
