my phone is kinda broken and not only takes ages to charge, the battery runs out sooo quickly I can only do 10 or 15 mins at a time.

I am really frustrated by that. I'm slowed down and having to wait for yet another thing is getting me down.

So I decided that I have to have an iPad for my birthday. I wasn't sure if I can justify the expense, but I'm sure you will all agree that I need one. and of course I'm not waiting till my birthday (next month), it will be bought asap.
Preferably before baby is born so I'm ready for night time bf.
I told DH it's because I want to be more organised, especially for next school year (which is actually true) - but it's an open secret that I mainly just want to play HD on it!

He was so sweet, he said he had been already planning to get me one anyway! aawww!
of course he laughed at me as well, especially at the surreal messages on my phone about lobster pools etc. but that's fine.
I am not ashamed.

my phone died this morning. it won't even charge at all now, so I can't play. I have to confiscate DH's phone. or DS1's.

And I have had had a few contractions so I might be in labour soon. DH is home, MIL on standby, notified hospital about early signs, but staying home for now, as there's no urgency just yet to go in.

And will now pack hospital bags, finally. just in case things kick off soon...

I sincerely hope dh is doing his duty, and is - this very minute - in your closest Apple store choosing your iPad (and iPhone).
