I've been reading in the news today about halal meat, how it's often not labelled as such, and the most terrible suffering of animals in slaughterhouses: I couldn't bear to read the details.
This has finally made me want to turn to plant based eating, after considering it for some time.
I like to have around 100g of protein a day, and feel healthier for it: can I meet this on a vegetarian/ vegan diet?
I'd be glad of any advice on just where to start, too: would it work to make gradual changes?
