Non-dairy milk that tastes most like regular semi-skimmed milk...

I had an oat milk latte and thought it was great.
Wondering if it would taste like regular milk in a bowl of cereal or cup of tea?

The cheapest soya unsweetened milk from Tesco is the best substitute I’ve tried. Best for tea, drinking etc. Think it’s called Growers Harvest.

As long as it's unsweetened, I find soya milk to be perfectly acceptable in tea (oat or almond is probably better for coffee). The cheaper own-brand ones are the best too, and all the supermarkets do one.
It took me a couple of days to get used to it not being cow's milk (after several attempts at trying to give it up, and believing I'd never do it) but you do get to a point where it actually tastes better.
I prefer almond milk for my cereal though.

I prefer rice milk on cereal and unsweetened alpro soya milk in coffee. I can have soya on cereal but rice milk is super creamy. I’d definitely try a few types there is so much choice on the market now.

Glebe Farm PureOaty is absolutely the best and most creamy plant-based milk. And made in the UK, so has a much lower carbon footprint than other milks made from almonds or soya, then imported from Europe.

Just had a cup of tea and a bowl of bite sized shredded wheat with barista oat milk.

Both were fine and didn’t taste too dissimilar to cow’s milk.
The only difference was the colour (a bit grey) and more watery consistency.

Going for a coffee with a friend this morning at a pub. I’m hoping they serve oat milk.......

Should have said, the milk is Asda’s own brand.
