WIBU supplementing protein?

Hello vegans,

I'm currently stuck in a small town in Aus with no access to a supermarket and we've decided it's not worth the risk of driving to one before the travel ban or Tuesday. The local small shop has limited options and people have panic bought the beans and even now the UHT plant milks. I've got some tofu frozen from my last supermarket trip but that will run out quickly and they don't deliver here any more. Would it be a good idea to try and find a protein powder at this stage? Can anyone recommend one; I've never used them. I don't want to be missing out on protein and risk getting sick but I really really don't want to go back to meat/dairy and I'm not even sure how my body would react at this stage if I did! Sorry if this sounds like a v.first world issue but my anxiety is free floating at the moment and this is what it's latched onto today.

It is actually quite hard to become deficient in protein. I have the opposite issue to not eat too many. To stay healthy you need 0.8 gr protein/body weight. For me and my weight (53kgs) it is 42 gr of protein.
Two table spoons of nutritional yeast have more than 8 gr of protein. 100 gr of spinach, almost 3gr. It adds up really quickly.

This said, if you think you need protein powder, try one that is pea based and low in sugar.

I am in Australia as well, and there is no ban to go shopping, unless you mean crossing a state border.

Supermarkets shelf are bare of everything but there is plenty of tofu.
