Missing chocolate

I'm three weeks into being a vegan and missing chocolate. Are there any truly decent substitutes? I know there is dairy free chocolate but I've tried some and it just doesn't cut it, I've been reading about the horrible process of milking to try and stave off cravings!

Ragnar
im not up for making my own at the moment, its enough of a lifestyle shift as it is for now and I want a grab and go but may be up for that at a later date

It can be very easy and effective. Our basic recipe is 3 parts 70% dark chocolate to 1 part marge (Pure), melted in pan. Then add few drops of orange oil, or whisky, or stem ginger, or coffee powder etc to flavour (plus a little icing sugar if extra sweetness required) and pour into chocolate mould. Takes a couple of hours to set and then you have lovely tasting truffles.

As pps have said vego bars are great. You wouldn't know they are vegan.

Another nod to Vego bars.

And the Anands products are pretty great. Round-Ups are yummy

Ombar is delicious. I'm far from a vegan but this is some of the nicest chocolate I've ever had

I made an experimental chocolate tiramisu, and it's lovely! It would be great for a special dessert.

You gently melt chestnut puree ,. dark chocolate, and the sweetener if your puree isn't sweetened (I use molasses or maple syrup.) Blend it.
Then drain a pack of soft tofu. blend it with vanilla, or add the flavour you like and fructose while aerating it. Add some of it to the choc. mixture when it's cooler to loosen and add a 'milkiness'. Then put it in a pretty glass and add the rest of the tofu on the top. Grate choc. or put vanilla seeds, sweetened ginger pieces etc on the top

It hardens up in the fridge overnight. It's lovely, you could use the moo free for children because it's quite rich!
