I'm meeting a friend in London...I have phil and teds. Just wondering if I get off at charing cross and walk to embankment..southbank. any good cafes to breastfeed the baby, I can't relax in public. I'm not sure about this at all, but surely I can amuse the 3 year old somehow without tiring myself too much?? Any advice about where to eat lunch, entertaining, breastfeeding areas very very much appreciated. Thank you.

also the national theatre foyer is really child friendly on days when there is no matinee on. very cool (as in not hot), my 2 year old loves running about in there, comfy things to climb on, quiet corners to sit in and breastfeed, baby change. free events outside - i took my 2 year old to ernesto neto exhibition at the hayward next door- he loved it

Tate modern has biiiig central hall - and IME kids are quite taken with large conceptual art. It,s all pedestrianised along south bank, which, for me, makes it very relaxed with kids,

And Bf - No one will hassle you. Giraffe, star bucks, on a bench - You won,t get comments.
