Apparently not. Was thinking of going at half term but a friend warned me off it. Said it takes about 30 mins to go round. There was a thread on here at same time suggesting it was a big rip-off, some people had demanded their money back.

We went the other day, and I agree it is ridiculously over priced. Ds (2) enjoyed it though, and made us complete the "circuit" (5 mins for adult, 10 with toddler) 3 times. It's not the worst place in the world, but it should have been £5 max, not £15. Dh really wanted to see it, but in retrospect, I'd say just go to the Natural History Museum instead and see the dinosaurs there.

just returend from dinosaurs unleashed at O2 and we were all very disapointed. Rip off Brtain strikes again!
It cost nearly £50 for a family ticket plus OAp ticket and although the website said it would be 90 mins we were in and out in 30mins. It wasnt actaully in the O2 but in a small shack ouside of it. It was overcroded and you couldn't get near to the dinosaurs or hear the tour guide. There were only about 10 dinosaurs and they hardly moved. The tour ended with the exit/shop where you spent another £15. A complete waste of money particulary in this economic cimate. My kids were bored and to think we had all been looking forward to it. It should have cost about half the price.

We went to the O2 at half term. Went by boat from Waterloo which was great. OK its not actually in the O2 but its not a shack either. Actually a very large marque just outside the O2. Think we also counted about 30 Dinosaurs and had a great time. Thought the interactive games and puzzels were good and the kids enjoyed the hands on bit. Definatly not cheap but a full day out in London is always going to be costly and atleast we were not swamped in groups of studens sheltering from the rain. Not sure what the perfect age would be. Ours are not PS2 or Wi literate so were more interested in digging up fossils. better than when on Oxford street, and alot warmer.

We had a family weekend in London in March and this was one of the places we visited as we needed something to keep 5 children entertained between the ages of 3-10 and it pretty much did that.

It's not a cheap visit and would only recommend if your kids are really into Dinosaurs. Also, if you're expecting this to be the Jurassic Park style experience, you will be disappointed ...

We spent two hours there - and there was more than enough to see/do. Our tour group had some kids who were very into their dinosaurs and our guide could answer all their questions without hesitation.

The tour lasted just over the hour then the kids were let loose on the interactive activities that were dotted around the place. The paint your dinosaur was their favourite but they also enjoyed the fossil dig, the jigsaws and the computer puzzles and quizzes.

There also activity sheets for the kids to answer
as you go around ... but these were located where the vending machines are (half way round) so we didn't realise they were there until we'd finished the tour - our kids would have prefered to fill them in as they went around.

Oh, the other part the kids loved was travelling to the O2 using the Thames Clipper.
