Bluestone or cottage in Pembrokeshire?

Has anyone ever stayed here? Will be over £3k for a ten night stay end July/early Aug so wondering if it's really worth it.
Otherwise we'll get a cottage if anyone has any recommendations? Never been to that area before so even general tips about the area would be appreciated.
Many thanks.

What's Bluestone? 3k for 10 nights seems steeeeeeeeeeeeep. How many in the party. Pembrokeshire is gorgeous though but cottage I stayed at was on a slightly, er, more modest budget than that so scared to link.

It's a holiday park, same sort of format as Centreparcs but nicer I'm guessing, at that price anyway! www.bluestonewales.com. Would need 3 bedrooms. Go on, give us a link!!

st bride's bay and pembrokeshire holiday cottages - we have chosen cottages from these agencies for this summer - they both have a good selection

We stayed here last August.... www.scolton.com. Loved it, and would recommend it. Children made friends and the grounds were so safe and secure.

Not sure they will still have availability for this August but worth checking.

Pembrokeshire is beautiful but weather is 'four seasons in one day'!!!!!!!!!!

hi i stayed at Bluestone great bit of a walk to the swimming pool but think they are adding transport links, nice food, good clean large lodges but I used
www.michaelpaulholidays.com to make my booking and they had an offer they also have other selected parks and lodges in the uk all personnal recommended so i am thinking about scotland or cornwall at easter

You don't say how old your kids are but we've used this site since we've had children toddler friendly

St Brides This agency are also very good.

Friends have stayed at Bluestone and liked it, but they've only ever gone out of season as otherwise the prices are astronomical.

Personally I'd get a cottage.

I wasn't keen on Bluestone. Characterless place. Pool is fab, but a 10 minute uphill walk from the chalet we were in, so not somewhere you could nip for half an hour. And you can pay to go in there anyway if you're not staying there. We spent a couple of hours in there. You have to pay for all other activities. We prefer days out so being on the site didn't add anything for us.

And as I say, I did find it characterless.

Have been to Pembrokeshire lots. Have always stayed in cottages and have been to Bluestone which we liked for a day out but don't think I would stay there. You could get a really nice cottage for half the price. We always use COastal Cottages of Pembrokshire which have some lovely selection of properties across the county. AM jealous, we went to Pembrokeshire last year and it is without a doubt my favourite place in the world but can't afford it this year .
