Centre parcs - which activities to pre-book

We're going to Longleat centreparcs in May with DD who will be 16 months. There are a few baby/toddler activities we can now book, is there any anyone would recommend or are we best to play it by ear and see how we get on and what the weather does?

play it by ear I think. Book your bikes though so you don't have to queue.

Thanks, i'm in 2 minds about bikes, the villa is very near the pool, and i'm a bit nervous about riding one with DD on the back (but I bet she'd love it!)

Sorry - one more question - do they check children's ages? Some of the activities are from 18 months, DD will be almost 17 months when we do, but we're going with friends who have 2 year olds and they want to do the activities, can we sign her up?

You put ages on the booking form, so Zey Vill Know. But we found that if you have a "quiet word" when your child is of borderline age, they are happy to be accommodating. They did this for us with DS when he was too old for one of the clubs, but only by a month, and putting him in the other one would have split him up from his friend!

Another vote for pre-booking bikes. There is always a queue if you go at popular times. Other than that, things do sell out, but not as quickly as you might be led to believe. We usually have a villa near the square and the pool too (at Sherwood) but it is still fun to go for random bike-rides. I seem to recall Longleat is quite hilly though, whereas Sherwood is pretty flat.

You have to get the bikes at center parcs. Tis the law. (Not really but it's part of the fun.)

It is. You don't want to be walking everywhere.
