You can hire buggies but they're expensive, there's no problem with using your own. A better option is a locker for £1 (but only go back to it once, as its a £1 each time you use it!)

I would plan on doing the little kiddy stuff/Miniland on Sunday (when there are likely to be queues for the other rides) and venturing further out on Monday.

Really, everything bar the Jungle Coaster and the Driving School is at least in principle suitable for 4 year olds (and there's a junior driving school for 3-6 year olds right next to the Driving School). At least, DS goes on everything; if you have a less daredevil DC then a couple of the rides might be a bit much but it's all quite tame, really (which is largely the point of Legoland; it's emphatically not a park for teenagers at all).

Make sure yougo and spend time in the bit where everything is made out of Lego, which is amazing, rather than chancing upon it 10 minutes before the park closes.

Take all needed food and drink, 'tis all shit and hugely overpriced.

See the water show play thing, it's brilliant.

(See how I know all the techical names?)

Take money to buy loose Lego at the end, is a technicolour experience in itself.

If you are having a meal there, then I think the best spot is at the castle in the knight zone. Very reasonable kids' meals, choice of milk or juice, plenty of seating.

I have this delemia about food, I can only take food on 1st day from home as next 2 days we are in a hotel, I will take snacky things but fresh sandwiches etc.. cant take unless we find a shop supermarket nearby

If need be whats the best place to eat there - I noticed its not all fast food (cavery, rostisseries, sandwiche place etc..)

get annual passes and show up after lunch when the crowds are thinning out a bit and have a picnic supper instead of picnic lunch!
