We're going camping at half term for a week near Scarborough.

So far we've got Flamingo Land and Eden Camp lined up. We'd also like a day at a beach looing for fossils/rock Pooling so thought we might go to Robin Hood's Bay.

Any other suggestions? Thanks.

We stayed at Cayton bay the week before last and it was a gorgeous place. The only real think we did was the sea life centre in scarborough - I have some half price tickets if you want them!! free for postage of course

We;re stopping at a little site outside of Scarborough, think its called High Yedmandale, near West Ayton.

Thanks for all the suggestions, sounds like there will be plenty to do.

Is The Moors Visitor Centre at Danby worth a trip to? It looks quite nice.

Yes, great adventure playground, lovely cafe with super food, visitor centre has lots of things going on - crafty things and suchlike and some nice walks roundabout,

Tegan, what did you think of Cayton Bay caravan park; was looking at this place, but some internet reviews on it are terrible, run down, gangs of teens, need of a revamp.,etc ?

we stayed at Park Resorts and the everything about it was lovely. great pool, arcade, huge entertainment room, bar with window to soft play area and all under one roof.
Also the food wasn't over priced which was a bonus
