Have to go to London end of June with DH and our 3 darlings: 6, 4, 2 years olds. DH and I have to attend Graduation Ceremony on a thursday afternoon in Aldermanbury, 2pm-7pm, ALONE without darlings. DOES ANYONE OUT THERE please know of any half decent hotels that aren't £400 per night for a family room, AND offer babysitting? OR anyone know of any creches or babysitting services we could use, if we ended up in a Premier Inn as we are on a bit of a budget??? THANKS!!!!!

I doubt you will get hotel babysitting in the day

Might be worth having a temp nanny for the afternoon

Hmm yes, thanks, i will have a check on the internet and see if i can locate any nanny agencies in London. Coming over from Belfast so having to rely on online research!

First have a look at MArlin Aprtments - we had a 2 bed room for £150 a night with kitchen two bathrooms and two bedrooms and lounge.

Secondly I used to work for "babysitters" and agency that you could hire a nany ir baby sitter for day or night - dont know if they are still around - based in Paddington

You could stay in Greenwich at the Ibis, they have a discount rate called Happy 30 where accommodation is free for 1 child less than 12 years old sharing parents room. I did a quick search and it appears the rooms only sleep 3 people, so you'd need to take 2 rooms, one adult in each (so two children going free).
There's a good agency called Little Misses and Masters who work locally in & around Greenwich (my CM works for them, and other friends recommended them to me), who will be able to take care of childcare for you.
Greenwich is very family friendly - transport into central London by train takes you into either Charing Cross or London Bridge stations. Or the DLR to Bank - if Aldermanbury is where I think it is, that would be close and easy transport. Greenwich park, observatory, markets, the cafes & pubs are generally child-friendly.
