HAve you looked at Hoseasons? They have a good selection of holiday parks some reasohable prices. What about this gurnard pine haven't been but looks good. Wanted to go this year but is a bit too far for us. Think it would be less than 3 hours from you.

Or dorset would be nice there are a few caravan sites there.

We have just come back from Butlins (bognor Regis) - which I suspect a lot of people may turn their nose up at but it was brilliant.

The kids entertainment programme runs from 9am - 9pm, and as well as stuff for younger ones, they have stuff like illusionists, spooky science, urban dance and beatbox lessons for the older kids and lots of sporty stuff, plus as much water as you could wish for in their Splash Waterworld and a cinema on site.

You've got the option of dinner, bed and breakfast or self catering, and they have OFSTED registered nurseries on site if that was an option for you to get some 'me-time'.

Obviously it's all very child orientated - but we found that was what made it relaxing - not having to wonder what to do with DD all day, and even though it was Easter weekend and it was at capacity we didn't have a porblem with massive queues or crowds which surprised us.

I don't know what special needs your LO has, but we saw several children there with various 'issues' from being wheelchair users to having Downs Syndrome and they all seemed to be having a great a time.

It was also about half the price we were quoted for Centreparcs for the same weekend.

we did Butlins at Minehead a couple of years ago - very good IMO (and I didn't think I would enjoy it at all)

Your older ones could go off and do their thing while you could do whatever with the younger ones
