Museum of transport in the West End near to Glasgow Uni is worth a visit. Enjoy your trip.

The science centre is great, its featured on nina and the nuerons on cbeebies. It is about £8 to get in, although you can use clubcard vouchers. Definatley worth a visit.

We have taken ds who is 2 there twice now, and could easily spend the day there, lots of things to do/see/buttons to press.

There is Xscape, they have an indoor sky slope, mainly for skiers, but they do have sessions for wee ones where they can do slegding. Its a 10 min ride out of the city though.

Mueseum of transport is good, and free, and has a few bits from Balamory in, including Eddie MacCready's bus. Opposite here is the Kelvingrove museum, tis a bit stuffy IMO, but again its free. There is Kelvingrove park too which is lovely, they sometimes have fairs on and such like

The peoples palace on Glasgow Green is nice, there is a lovely cafe in the glass house, a huge park, gardens and mueseum. There is also a brewery opposite that I think you can have a look around.

If its a nice day the city itself is nice to walk around, there are open top bus tours, which are a good way to see lots of things.

Kelvingrove does have quite a few interactive things for kids, look out for the drawers too.

As already suggestedKelvingrove then the Transport museum and lunch in either one is a day filled. If a nice day grab some crisps and filled rolls froma local shop and take advantage of the Kelvingrove park.

The Science Museum is pricey but lots to see and do.

If in central Glasgow and the weather is dry (ok bit hopeful) get a lovely sausage roll from greggs and grab a bench in George Square for lunch.

The Tall Ship is another place popular with kids. £5.95 per adult includes one fre child per adult.

The Underground or as they call it now 'the subway' is the easy way to reach all of these places. It is a circular route with a line clockwise and another anticlockwise, so you really have to try hard to get lost. If taking your car park at one of the outlying stations such as Ibrox (park near the Rangers shop its on CCTV all day) and use the U to get into towncentre.

Definately do the bus tour. It leaves from George Square and you can get off right outside the Transort Museum. The Art Galleries are across the road.
