Am having a well earned girly night out in Birmingham - where to go?

I'm having a girly meet up with some old friends this weekend in Birmingham and would love to know which places we should go to for a decent meal/ drink /dance (if we can still stand upright after drinking )
We are staying in the city centre so would prefer something fairly central.

TIA

The Bacchus Bar at the Burlington Hotel on New Street is nice for a drink, although I haven't ever been after early evening. Broad Street is pretty grim but there are lots of decent bars and restaurants (and a v nice champagne bar) at the Mail Box (where Harvey Nics is); also Brindley Place down by the canal.

When I did this a while ago we went to reflex on broad street - 80s bar with a revolving dance floor. All forgot we were up standing members of the community and were hi-5ing everyone off the edge of the dance floor.

We found it by asking a nice looking police lady where a good place to go that was fun and didn't get rough.

We are planning a return visit - so if you go and get elbowed off the dance floor that will be a childfree me!

I think Janeite had a bit of a more grown-up time than me - the Baccus bar is lovely.

Chez Jules is nice and cheap for a meal (down the side of Pizza Hut on New Street. French set menus, sit on long benches.

I haven't actually been out in Birmingham city centre for years, other than to restaurants! There is a very, very nice restaurant in Brindley Place, or near there (Oozell's Square) caled something like Ciello - sort of posh Italian: lovely food. There is also a nice Thai in the same area.

Oops -sorry for typos.

That's all brilliant - thanks. I'm definately up for a bit of revolving dancefloor action but think my mates are more sophisticated (or at least think they are )
Thanks for all recommendations.
