Butlins Bognor Regis

We are off to the above for Easter weekend (God help us - was a treat from MIL, bless her!). It's our first proper break as a family and I've never been to a Butlins in my life, so any pointers would be much appreciated as really want to make the most of it, especially:

Can anyone tell me what they've got on there at the mo that's good for 4.5 YO DD?

What's Triton the robot like - DD has seen it online and is terrified - have lied and told her he won't be there Easter weekend so she doesn't spend the next 6 weeks getting her knickers in a twist over it.

Also, how much do the activities with extra charges tend to cost?

Am off out now so won't be replying for a bit, but thanks in advance for any tips!

hi

we have been to butlins bognor several times with our dd now 4yrs, she loves it.

the funfair is free but there are lots of little 50p rides in the skyline, that soon mounts up the cost.
my dd loves seeing bob and his gang at certain times of the day, we did pay extra £30 last year for her to go to bobs party, she loved it, she got rucksack with bits and pieces in and went to the party and played games.

there is also loads going on in the day for kids and into the early evening in the skyline then it moves to either reds or centre stage, but if you want a seat you need to get there early.

the pub has some nice food if you are self catering, and there is a pizza restaurant as well, or the shoreline hotel, but you need to reserve a table there.

my dd is desperate to go back this year, but we have said no, she went 3 times last year but she has such a good time, make sure you take plenty of money as it isn't cheap to entertain, eat or drink.

your dd will love it.

Thanks for that. We've just sold some of DD's baby stuff so are putting that towards the spending money - looks like we'll need to although we are going half board which will help.

It sounds like it'll be worth it though (never mind the loss of £125 to my new kitchen fund!!!).
