With all the terrible news about stabbings in london just recently my children are wondering where I'm bringing them. Of course I know we will be fine. It's probably like any city with good and bad places. Do Londoners agree - any tips please about where to avoid would be really appreciated. And I'm sorry if Iv'e put anyone's backs up after all the great tips Iv'e received on my London challenge thread

HIJACK _ Lemon are you around for drinks/food in Kew on Friday? We're going to pub so you don't have to come all evening if you don;t want to...

Oh and we don't do crime in my part of London despite being South of the River.

I've lived in Sarf London for 19 years, most of that time in Brixton, Camberwell and Peckham.

I have been the victim of crime....

....my bicycle seat was stolen in 1996.

Sorry to disappoint.

Possibly. DH is getting back from Bangalore that day so will depend on timframes... will only have DD to worry about, though, as DS will be off staying with SIL for the weekend. Don't suppose it's a Pub That Takes Babies?
