Bristol with an 8-year-old: Wake the Tiger or We The Curious?

Bristol! Wake the tiger or we the curious science museum? Only have one day and can’t decide between the two
which one shall we go to? Any advice recommendations for either of them please?

Wake the Tiger is brilliant, my 8 yo really loved it when we visited. Not been to we the curious so interested in other responses.

If you're planning to go back another time, I'd do we the curious this time and save wake the tiger for next year. Great for an 8 year old but imo even better slightly older. And we the curious is lovely- mine love the aardman stuff

Wake the Tiger is amazing but my similar age children find it a bit scary. We the Curious is good fun if you're willing to take the time to interact with everything - a bit overpriced imo but worth doing. With an 8-year-old, I’d probably go for We The Curious. It has 200+ hands-on exhibits, so there’s plenty for an 8-year-old to explore and get involved with, and you can add a Planetarium show too. Wake The Tiger is more about immersive art, colours and exploring unusual spaces, so it depends whether your child prefers science and experiments or imaginative adventures.
