Last minute SE holiday help- brain frazzled by newborn

I’m looking to book a long weekend break before the school summmer holidays start for two adults, a 4year old, and a newborn. I’ve been going round in circles researching lots of different options but getting nowhere as I’m so tired currently, and I’m conscious that lots of places will be booked up now. The absolute musts are:

-Within a couple of hours drive of Worthing, as neither kids are good travellers.

-Lots of kid friendly things to do nearby, for the eldest obviously.

-If accommodation is a woodland cabin type set up, it would be ideal for there to be some kids facilities on site, like a playground. My ekdest’s favourite holiday was Center Oarcs!

-Sandy beach within driving distance of accommodation would be lovely, but not essential.

I don’t want to do a caravan site, but other than that I’m flexible. Happy for it to be self-catering, and don’t have a set budget.

Any suggestions for general locations or any particular accommodation would be very, very appreciated.

Have a look at forest holidays. There's one in Winchester - though I'm not sure how far away that is for you.. I know you said not caravan but what about a haven/park dean in a chalet? We did this and was a game changer. Although the holidays are naff and cheesy with some questionable guests, the kids love them and in turn you have a good holiday! :)

Isle of Wight, is a great holiday for young families. Nice little Ferry trip, and a lot to do once you’re there, lovely beaches. My DS1 loved Black Gang Chine, Model Village, the needles, Bus museum, he was two the first time we went and was totally obsessed with buses! the New forest is also lovely. Have a lovely holiday whatever you choose.

Silverlake in Dorset might fit the bill. Sandy beaches nearby & onsite there’s a big pool, lots of paths for scooting/cycling and playgrounds.

Warmwell in Dorset has a fantastic amount going on for young children. It’s an easy drive to the beach, too.

I agree with Isle of Wight. Look for accommodation that gives you a discount on the ferry. Robin hill is amazing, great beaches, Amazon world zoo is great and has a big soft play.

its a bit further out so outside your location range but google bluestone in west wales. Perfect for the 4 year old and near lovely beaches at saundersfoot. Like centre parks but with two big indoor play areas
