UK holiday with a toddler - Bluestone?

Looking for recommendations for a holiday in June/July. My DS will be 18 months so looking for somewhere that will have activities for him to do. We have been to centre Parcs before but found it expensive and not many activities for DS to do. I keep seeing Bluestone recommended. Any suggestions?

Bluestone is perfect for that age, a lot of it is geared to the under 10's, the pool is not as nice as centre parks, a bit dated but it's got a wave machine and some slides, lots of fun things for toddlers, much cheaper and some beautiful beaches too.

Haven holidays are also good for that age.

Hendra is lovely for that age, if you're happy in a caravan.

Bluestone is lovely for that age, lots to do on the site itself, plus a nearby woodland for cycling if I remember correctly. Unlike Centr Parcs, you can leave and go to places nearby, Tenby, Folly Farm, lots of beaches and walks.

We are going to Bluestone in March for the first time. We are local and it has a great reputation. We were recommended to go by DS’ class teacher and several friends.

Also agree with PPs, the surrounding area is glorious and lots to do.

100% bluestone, especially if you can go term time when its cheaper

Bluestone is brilliant for that age. You can hire golf buggies to get around which is entertainment in itself for young children!

pool is great for that age - not as big or fancy as CP but that’s not an issue for kids that age. There’s also an indoor playground (not quite soft play but similar) and bouncy castles, undercover sand play, water play and little shows you can take them too. Much more included than at CP.

Thanks everyone. Think I’m definitely leaning towards bluestone.

@narcASDI don’t mind a haven holiday. Used to do those as a kid. Will bear in mind, thanks.

@ArchbishopOfBanterburythanks for the Hendra recommendation. We’ve done Cornwall the last 3 years so looking for somewhere different. But will definitely keep in mind.

Ribby hall is also similar x

Bear in mind that Bluestone has very steep hills on site.

I didn’t rate Bluestone, but I’m clearly in the minority
