I’ve just seen that Eureka have baby and toddler events throughout the year but is it actually worthwhile taking a baby? Not been since I was a child so not sure if it would be a waste of money for the adult tickets!

I’d say it really depends on what you’re hoping to get out of the visit. Eureka! The National Children’s Museum does run baby and toddler-focused events through the year, and they’ve got dedicated spaces like the Under 5s gallery (with soft play, sensory areas, and role-play zones). For babies, it’s more about the sensory experience and giving them a change of scenery than “learning” in the museum sense.
That said, the adult tickets can feel pricey if you’re only going with a very young baby, since much of the museum is aimed at toddlers and older kids. If your little one is closer to toddler age and starting to explore, it can be a lot more worthwhile. Otherwise, it might feel more like a nice day out for you than something they’ll get much from.

I think there are some good bits outside so I would wait for spring.

Eureka is a great place to visit from about toddler age until towards the end of primary school.

My youngest has been regularly since birth, but when tiny we were going for the beneift of her sister who would have been about 2+ at the time.
