Sherwood or Bluestone

We have the chance to go to center parcs Sherwood, or bluestone this November due to it being our last chance to go in school term time meaning we can afford it. We would have a just turned 1 year old and a 3 year old. Ignoring the cost, would anyone have any advice on which is genuinely better? I think probably Centre Parcs, but I’m worried about the weather so then wonder about Bluestone with its indoor area. Thank you for any advice!

At Centre Parcs there are often one or two much smaller soft play areas typically in the sports bar or in restaurants, but nothing like the adventure centre at Bluestone. The soft play area is large and there were also a few bouncy castles when we went.
Our Bluestone lodge felt significantly larger than the Centre Parcs equivalent and is over two floors which I personally preferred. There seemed like a lot of thought had gone into the little things. The bins were full size unlike the tiny ones at CP.
Even though it’s smaller, the Blue Lagoon seemed quieter than swimming at CP and we never needed to wait for a changing room.
The central play park in Bluestone’s village was great for little ones and preschoolers. It also was visible from the cafe opposite. At CP, we we found most are more suitable for older children.

@Forgottenmyphone that’s great thank you, I’m wondering if bluestone would probably be better this time with this age, then maybe in a few years we could save for the gross center parcs school holiday price 😂🙈 it’s just part of me feels it’s now or never for there, whereas bluestone is more affordable in the holidays, but if it’s raining all week it looks more fun at bluestone! It’s hard… I keep changing my mind.

Ive been to both recently and for younger kids I would do Bluestone, especially if it works out cheaper. I wouldn’t go with older
kids as there isn’t actually a huge amount for them to do, not like CP, which has a better pool setup than Bluestone. The highlight is the golf buggies so make sure you include one when u book, also the lodge which was a real surprise, much nicer than we expected.
