London for someone with mobility difficulties

I’m going to London with late 70s mum and teen DD to see ABBA Voyage. We’re driving to a hotel next to a tube station to minimise walking. Mum can walk but has arthritis so is slow and gets tired. I’m thinking we can get the boat to embankment for the National Gallery for teen DD. Just wondering if there is anything else we can do that doesn’t require a lot of walking. Our London trips usually involve a lot of steps so this is going to be different. Only staying two nights.

What’s access at the Sky Garden like?

Hi OP
You will LOVE ABBA Voyage. I was there early May as a 60th Birthday Treat.

From Pudding Mill Lane DLR Station its opposite, which is rather handy. All on the flat, no steps.

Regards Sky Garden. I went there a few years ago and there is disability access and once you are in your bags and coats etc will be scanned .. Then its up in the lift to the view . Though most of the viewing area is flat there are some steps up, its a rockery I think, but you don't need to see that bit if you can't
Enjoy yourselves/

Thanks. I did ABBA Voyage for my 50th and know what to expect 😁

My mum can do steps just not too many, and walking any distance takes a while. I tend to march everywhere so will need to be patient. Not sure how long she will be able to do these things so making the most of quality time together.
