Significant Birthday coming up and Me and DM are doing a coach trip
The Hotel is in Newcastle.
DM is keen to see the Angel of the North up close and I note a bus takes You to it, which would be great during our afternoon at Leisure (morning will be in Durham).
Just wondering if anyone had taken the bus and how long it took, roughly.

Aye, the angel is somewhere you stop on your way to somewhere, just for the photo op! In all fairness, you don't appreciate how enormous it is until you stand next to it. If you're still contemplating it, the 21s run 6 times an hour, monday to Saturday, less on a Sunday, with either Chester-le-Street or Durham/Brandon as the destination, though, quite a few get cancelled. They're supposed to be green with the Angel on the side but anything goes, these days. Don't get it mixed up with the X21 because that goes down the same road but doesn't stop there!
