Recommend me a dog-friendly idyllic campsite

I'm looking for something along the south coast/south west/Wales, dog-friendly, near a beach, laid-back and a lovely vibe. I'll be going with my teens so ideally somewhere without LOADS of little kids, we want to hang out, drink wine (in my case) and toast marshmallows. Somewhere with other teens (maybe a bit surfy?) would be good. Oh and a nice pub in walking distance! We normally go to Higher Aunemouth Farm in Bantham (Devon) and I love it there but fancy a change this year. Any suggestions welcome!

National Trust campsite in Lansalos Cornwall. Very basic and off the beaten track but absolutely beautiful. Bonus is a dog friendly beach a short walk down a woodland track. It’s situated between Fowey and Polperro which are full of great pubs and restaurants and not far from Looe where you can try the Sardine Factory, a superb fish restaurant. The head chef was a finalist in the Great British Menu.

Nolton Haven Bay in Pembrokeshire definitely has the vibe you’re after, and a dog-friendly beach is just a few minutes walk. The quirky village pub is just next to the beach.
Trevellas Manor Farm in Cornwall is another good one. Trevellas Porth is the closest beach to the campsite and is a 10 min walk away. Dogs are allowed off-lead throughout the year and the campsite also has a dog walking area.

Forgot to mention Watermouth Valley. Pub is 300 yards down the road, it’s got a dog walking area, allows fire pits and Watermouth Harbour, Broadsands Beach and Hele Bay beach all allow dogs.

Watergate bay Touring Park just north of Newquay is very good outside of peak time. its a short walk to the coast path then about 1/2 mile to Watergate bay one way or a mile to mawgan Porth the other. newquay itself is about 4 miles to the centre. Very clean showers and toilets, small shop, bar, cafe if you want it. Good pub within walking distance too! And very little light pollution if you're a stargazer as I've found out many times on a 3am loo trip Grin

The New Forest has lovely campsites. Hollands Wood near Brockenhurst opens directly onto the forest and is walking distance to the village with dog-friendly pubs and cafes, and a mainline station.

This one is perfect! I'm going to book it if they can squeeze us in in August!
